Each October, East Falls Community Council (EFCC) hosts the Fall Festival, a month-long celebration of the individuals and organizations that make East Falls special. Look in next month’s Fallser for an insert listing all the activities. Be sure to check the back of the flyer for discounts to area restaurants.
Many of the popular events will be back this year. The House Tour will be Sunday, October 23. This year’s Historical Society activity is special: a tour of historic St. James the Less, on Saturday, October 22. For the children, Philadelphia University will once again host a Halloween Party on October 29. As always, the Friends of the Falls of Schuylkill Library, Laurel Hill Cemetery, and Penn Charter will have activities.
Watch for new things as well. On October 20 East Falls Village will host a tour of Kamelot Auction House in the historic Atwater-Kent Building located here in East Falls. The artists and artisans at Sherman Mills are also putting together activities for the Fall Festival; look for details next month.
