The Fallser accepts letters, articles and photos at the publisher's discretion. We reserve the right to edit and/or reject any submissions received.  Please follow the guidelines listed.

If you would like your hard copy submissions returned to you, provide us with a SASE.

The submission deadline for each issue of The Fallser is the 20th of the preceding month.

ARTICLES
Length: Unless prior arrangements have been made, please keep the length of your article to fewer than 400 words. If submitting article w/photo, length must be less than 350 words
Content:  First, we consider articles that are specific to East Falls and its residents. We consider articles of a more general interest to our readership, space permitting.

LETTERS
Length: Letters to the editor must be fewer than 200 words.
Content:  We accept letters that are relevant for East Falls residents or on pertinent issues. We occasionally accept letters of a more general interest. We do not accept anonymous letters, or letters addressing personal issues.

CALENDAR
We accept free event listings for the Calendar. Events will be listed in both print and online editions and must be submitted as described in Content below. Events which cost to attend are listed only if submitted by a Fallser advertiser for event.
Content:  We accept events that are specific to East Falls, its residents and advertisers. We occasionally accept other relevant events, if room permits. Please list in this order: date, time, a brief, less-than-10-word description of the event, as well as a contact phone number.

ALL SUBMISSIONS: Please send your submission as an attachment to your email as well as in the body of your email.

PHOTOGRAPHS
We accept photographs for our Where in the World and About Our Residents features as well as to accompany submitted captions or articles, space permitting, at discretion of publisher.

Electronic Submission Specs:
• 300 minimum dpi at 5" width (bigger is better)
• Include information about the photo such as
• Title & caption – please identify people pictured
• Photographer
• Phone, address and email of contact person

We accept photos via email, zip disk, or cd with the file in the following formats only: .pdf, .psd, .jpg, .gif., .tiff
