Miss Lilia Susan, age 3, of Tilden Street, visited Florida with her parents, Joe Durrance and Laura Stroffolino, for two weeks in July. Lilia and family explored the Florida Keys, Miami, and the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, where this picture was taken. Lilia's great-grandmother lived in the Florida Keys in the 1920s, when she was a little girl. Her father was a station agent for the Key West Extension of the Florida East Coast Railroad, until the railroad was destroyed by hurricane in 1935.

Tish Gemabala and daughter Paige took a trip to Northern Italy this summer. From their home base in Bardolino, they took trips up the east coast of Lago de Garda, to Venice, to Murano, and to Sirmione along with other areas.
The most wonderful part of their, says Trish, was in Verona where they attended a live performance of Guiseppe Verdi’s opera Aida, performed in Arena de Verona, an ancient Roman arena. On the day they arrived, however, Trish and Paige ran into some unsavory characters who took an unusual interest in The Fallser.
